Puppy Russian Butter Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • ground cinnamon for rolling russian butter ball in

Instructions

  • Mix whole wheat flour, egg, canned pumpkin, peanut butter together until smooth
  • Take 1 tablespoon of mixture and roll into ball
  • If to soft, roll in whole wheat flour to help form a ball shape. Dough should not be runny
  • Roll ball into cinnamon
  • Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes
  • I used a toaster oven for this recipe. Depending on your oven, you might need to change the cooking time.
  • Puppy Russian Butter Balls should be spongy when broken open
  • Store in air tight container for up to 1 week
