Oreo Cookie Milkshake

Apr 16, 2020 | Drinks, Food

I wish I didn’t have a sweet tooth but I do; always have; always will.  And who doesn’t love ice cream, right?  One of my fondest memories from childhood was going to Dairy Queen every Friday night with my parents and my sister and getting a Full Meal Deal special which consisted of a root beer (or sometimes a Coke), burger with mustard and ketchup (no cheese), French fries, and a butterscotch sundae!  Do you remember when they would give you your “chip” with your meal so you could come back and get your Sundae?  So fun!!!  Can you imagine me with all of my chunkiness running to the counter and proudly handing over my chip?  Haa haa.

Well, I still like ice cream and with a gallon of Cookies n’ Cream sitting in our freezer, I had to make a milkshake.  I came up with the idea of combining my Cookies n’ Cream with my International Delight Oreo Coffee Creamer adding a splash of Vanilla and my Oreo Cookie Milkshake was born!  To top it all off, I had just bought a can of whipped cream as the cherry on top!  But I was still being good by only making a small milkshake instead of a large :-).  This combination was a mix of vanilla, cream, and chocolate and incredibly satisfying!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup international delight Oreo creamer
2 cups cookies n’ cream ice cream with the crushed Oreos inside
1 tablespoon vanilla

Directions:

Mix all 3 ingredients together with a blender and add your toppings which in my case was whipped cream
You can double the recipe to make a large

I would love to hear if you try this and how you liked it.  Enjoy!!
