Traveling To Charlotte, NC
Happy Wednesday everyone!!! I’ve taken some time off from blogging to take a much needed vacation to Charlotte, NC and to work on getting our house ready for summer! Thomas and I took a relaxing drive to Charlotte, NC to see my childhood friend and enjoyed spending time with her and her family while taking in this beautiful city. We stayed at the Hilton Uptown which is in walking distance of all the major restaurants, parks, bars, and beautiful trees, flowers, and shrubs that line the streets and sidewalks. We enjoyed people watching while drinking delicious gourmet coffee outside the adorable cafe’s, thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful seafood dinner at Eddie V’s, a scrumptious Italian dinner at Luce, plus mimosas on a roof top bar overlooking the city!
Before I get into my blog post, I want to announce and congratulate Carla, the winner of my giveaway and collaboration with SiliDog. Thank you to all who participated in the survey. We really appreciated you taking the time to give us positive feedback.
Charlotte at night
Hilton Uptown
Thomas and I goofing off outside the hotel while waiting for friends to pick us up for breakfast! I was wearing red and black with pink lipstick from MAC called “Cravings” and lipliner from Patrick Ta called “She’s Hard To Get”. Mascara is from Too Faced “Better Than Sex” in black and that’s about it. I kept it simple on vacation.

Luce Ristorante
Although a little hard to find, we are so glad we did because Luce was worth it! The food is incredible, ambiance romantic, prices reasonable, and we left happily full and plump :-).
Amelie's French Bakery and Cafe
Amelie’s French Bankery and Cafe
An eclectic vibe in Noda on 2424 N. Davidson Street, this funky cafe is vibrant with aromas of sweet goodness as soon as you open up the door!
Beautiful Parks
All of a sudden, you are walking down the sidewalks and come to a halt to check out the beautiful flowers, stone pillow statues, mammoth fish stone water fountains, brick paved pathways, and people walking and playing with their dogs!
I hope you enjoyed this post! We had a wonderful time and hope to be back soon! Charlotte NC is beautiful with activities for all ages. Interested in going? Just log on to Charlotte’s visiting center and request a travel guide but do it much in advance. I got mine the day before I was to leave for my trip!
We left Jake And Maggie home this trip but plan on taking them with us the next time. We are planning a trip to TN and will be sure to bring them along. Traveling with your pet, check out my previous post HERE
