Homemade Fettuccini Alfredo Sauce
Happy Wednesday everyone!!! I haven’t shared a human recipe in a while (well, except for this Caprese sandwich HERE) so I couldn’t wait to surprise you with this one!! I created this recipe when Thomas and I first got married. I love cooking for him because he is the best taste tester ever and we both share the love of pasta! This recipe is NOT for those on a diet, that’s for sure. It is loaded with carbs, butter, garlic, and cheese but whose counting, right? This is a cheesy, garlicky, buttery, bowl of goodness and I can’t wait to hear if you made it and how it turned out for you! This homemade fettuccini Alfredo sauce is so easy to make and freezes well for another day! I used regular fettuccini noodles and spinach infused fettuccini noodles for this dish but you can use whatever noodle you like.

Have fun with this recipe! It is so easy to make and can be changed so easily by adding more garlic powder, less butter, or add some milk to thin it out. Add a side of vegetable like asparagus or throw baby spinach in the sauce! Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 3 sticks butter, unsalted
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 32 oz quart heavy whipping cream
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Melt butter, garlic powder, chopped parsley, garlic salt, and pepper together
- Add Whipping Cream and stir well
- Combine mozzarella and parmesan cheeses one at a time and keep stirring until melted
Notes
If you like more salt in your Alfredo sauce, use salted butter! Toss seared shrimp, grilled chicken, or add spinach if you like! Enjoy!
