Happy Monday everyone! It was a happy weekend for me! I made a Sephora haul, a Walmart haul, a quick stop into the salon to grab my hairspray, and a surprise shipment from Nature Made Vitamins arrived in the mail on Friday.
Let me tell you that Nature Made Vitamins did it right. First, I was not asked to make a purchase and to blog about them. I was not asked to purchase a product at a discount and post on social media for them. I was simply just given sample products for free. Not only was the box wrapped in my favorite color RED, the packaging showcased their product well, from their signature colors to their suggestion to explore my personal wellness journey by taking their quiz to find the supplement regiment designed just for me! I’ve been using Naturemade Vitamins for years and they must have been reading my mind. To my delight I got a huge bottle of Magnesium 60 200 mg gummies, 90 2000 IU D3 soft gels, and Gardenia bath salts!! Our bodies change over time and we need to adjust to those changes. I’ll be 50 this August. I never thought about taking a multi-vitamin in my 20s like I do now! Find your new supplement regimen here by take their quiz: https://www.naturemade.com/pages.quiz
As promised, I’ve been wanting to give you more product reviews both on products I’ve personally been using and pet related. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to rely on some favorites with cleaner ingredients. I have been using these same products for over two years now and love them.
Aveda Hairspray – This hairspray leaves a lightweight feel while still holding the curl all day. My hair gets frizzy in humid weather and this hairspray helps eliminate the frizz.
Patrick Ta Lipliner (She’s Hard To Get) – This lipliner was developed by Vlogger Patrick Ta and feels more like a matte powder on your lips. Has great staying power and matches perfectly with Tom Ford Lipstick “Showgirl”. It glides on easy with an angled tip. It has a click and pump end eliminating a sharpener.
Herbivore ROSE Hibiscus Coconut Water Face Mist – I use this face mist every morning after washing my face and before putting on my face powder. I sometimes use it throughout the day just as a hydrating refresh. It wakes up my skin. I suffer from allergies and my skin gets get so dry and the cool mist just makes me feel better.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara – Being someone who has very short eye lashes, this mascara makes me look like I have grown them overnight! This is also a very clean product. Although a little pricey, it is well worth the price. I am also a person that likes a carbon black mascara. This mascara only comes in one color (carbon black) which might be a deterrent for some but I love it.
Bare Minerals Face Powder SPF Foundation – I’ve been wearing Bare Minerals for years and love that this powder because it feels like I’m wearing nothing on my skin. I don’t like the heavy feel of a liquid foundation.
Thanks Bobbi Jo for the recommendations! I want to try the hairspray, the mascara, and face powder. I’m always looking for a good mascara due to having sparse eye lashes. I got a gift card from ultra I’m anxious to cash in. I’ll let you know when I get the goods and start using it. But I’m excited! Have a great day!
I’m so glad this post helped you. I bought the hairspray right here in Weirton at the new salon right next to DiCarlo’s pizza! Keep me posted on how you like all your new products! I’ll be putting out more posts like this over the course of the year as well as pet related posts. Jake and Maggie just got new beds for Christmas. We are trying them out and I’ll let you all know how we like them 🙂
