Whipped Feta With Ranch Dressing Dip

Nov 20, 2022 | Food, Sides

Happy Monday everyone!  This Whipped Feta Dip With Ranch Dressing is pretty awesome!  I don’t normally posts a lot of dips and was a little apprehensive about this one until I tried it.  Sweet, salty, and extra creamy, this dip will be a hit at your party!  I added chopped scallions and honey on top but you can add a mix of hot pepper flakes, chopped pistachios, parsley, and olive oil instead.  Add some zing with a side of crackers and pepperoni for dipping.

How to make whipped feta dip:

This dip is so easy to make.  I added the feta cheese, cream cheese, olive oil, minced garlic, dried basil, black pepper and ranch dressing into a bowl and combined all the ingredients together.  You can also put into a blender for a smoother consistency.  This recipe would also be fun by laying the dip on a toasted French baguette topped with a tomato and fresh basil mixture with drizzled olive oil.

Using the best ingredients for your dips:

I always try and use the best oils for my dipping sauces.  When we lived in Missouri, we would spend time in St. Charles (https://www.discoverstcharles.com/things-to-do/main-street/).  It was such a quaint romantic city with lots of restaurants and unique shopping.  We would always stop at the Di Olivas Oil and Vinegar (https://www.discoverstcharles.com/listing/di-olivas-oil-%26-vinegar/345/) to test different olive oils.  You could pick your own container(s) and they would fill it with whatever oil(s) you chose.

The 13 best olive oils to use:

We not longer live in Missouri, so I always search for the best I can find. If I’m not standing in front of the oils at Kroger, I’m online looking at them.  According to NY The Strategist, these are the 13 best olive oils to cook with:  https://nymag.com/strategist/article/best-olive-oils-according-to-chefs.html

Using the best Feta:

Feta cheese is the star of this recipe.  When I made this recipe, I went to the specialty cheese counter at Kroger.

Using homemade ranch:

You could absolutely use bottled ranch dressing but I went to Eat N Park and bought their homemade ranch dressing.  I just think using homemade ranch is sooooo much better in recipes.

It’s the week of Thanksgiving and I’ve got my shopping done, turkey bought, and table set.  I hope that you are enjoying dinner with your family and if you are in need of a quick dip for your charcuterie board, I hope this recipe finds it’s way to your table!
