Prosciutto Pizza
I bought a StoneFire Artisan Crust Pizza bread, covered it with strips of fresh prosciutto, mozzarella cheese, spinach, tomatoes, basil, garlic powder, butter and a touch of salt and pepper.
First I melted 1/2 stick of salted butter and 1 tablespoon garlic powder together in the microwave. Using a brush, I basted the pizza bread with my butter mixture. This gives the crust a nice crunchy salty/garlicky taste. I cut the tomatoes on the vine in slivers, cut the fresh basil in thin slices and layered the ingredients. I tossed with some garlic salt and pepper. After baking at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, I lightly tossed the pizza with parmesan cheese. I did not measure anything and just added and layered to my liking.
I used 2 tomatoes, a handful of fresh cut basil, and approximately a 1/2 cup of spinach, and 4 thick slices of mozzarella cheese that I broke up into pieces. This is for those who want more measurements. I used a pinch of garlic salt because the butter is salty already. I used a dash of pepper.
I baked my pizza in the oven for 20 minutes but I could have kept it in there for 5 more! It all depends on your oven and I’m still getting used to mine since they are new!
