Happy Friday everyone!  Today on the blog is a delicious Banana and Buddy Budder Frozen Treat.  A blend of Buddy Budder Peanut Butter and very ripe bananas frozen into heart shaped goodies for your dog!  With two simple ingredients, one bowl, one fork, one spoon and a mold, these treats can be mixed up in no time, kept in an air tight container and frozen for up to 2 weeks.

Buddy Butter is an amazing product made by a woman owned business in the US, packed full of healthy nutrients, sugar-free product, healthy for your pets.  I made these pancakes using their products for Jake And Maggie and they loved them.
The combination and texture of these banana and buddy budder frozen treats is a mushy texture due to the bananas being so ripe.  The buddy budder is a bit grainy and combined creates a slight paste like consistency.  I used a small decorative spoon used to scoop sugar for coffee and filled the hearts to the top. I then took a knife and scraped it across the mold to gather any drippings outside the heart so that the backs would be flat.  I froze overnight and now I can say that these treats are Two Adorable Labs approved.  Jake And Maggie had them for breakfast and LOVED them!

Does your pup love blueberries, strawberries, spinach?  Dice up your pet’s favorite snack and add to this mixture of banana and peanut butter to add color and more nutrients.  Use sardines by sticking them in the middle of your molds and freeze to make a lollipop!
Speaking of molds…I bought these adorable heart shaped molds at Walmart just before Valentine’s Day.  I washed them with Dawn dish soap and made sure they were thoroughly dried before using them.  They are heat resistant, dishwasher safe, and can be used to make fun desserts, candies, appetizers, and dog treats!  These molds can also be used to make wax melts which are currently available via my storefront.

This treat is so delicious that humans can eat it.  I would recommend adding some honey on top for a nice little snack!  Use a topper in a big bowl of ice cream with chocolate syrup for something fun.  Sound crazy?  You won’t know until you’ve tried it.  There are so many crazy recipes out there so why not!
