Eggo Diablo
Happy Wednesday everyone! I don’t normally post that many breakfast recipes but this Eggo Diablo is definitely husband approved. Mr. TAL loved it so much that I put it in my Sit, Stay, Eat 2 Cookbook (available for Digital download via my store) and I want to share it on the blog. A portion from each sale of my cookbooks go to Joey’s P.A.W. to help animals in need of wheelchairs and prosthetics. My second book includes breakfast, soups, salads, sandwiches, and doggie treats. Each recipe...
Broiled Lobster
Happy Monday everyone! This broiled recipe is not only fast, easy to make, it is delicious. For my birthday, Mr. TAL surprised me with flowers and a surf and turf dinner! But the big surprise was that he was cooking and all I had to do was watch :-). But…if you know me, you know this was very hard for me to do so I jumped up and made the garlic butter sauce and he did the rest. These broiled lobster tails were better than anything I have ever had and I couldn’t wait to share them with you....
Luxating Patella / Cranial Cruciate Ligament
Happy Wednesday everyone! I’ve mentioned in the last few blog posts that Jake has had some surgery and that surgery was to fix a Luxating Patella and Cranial Cruciate Ligament. He is doing very well but we had some ups and downs with him getting an infection and discharge from the knee cap and incision. I apologize for some of the photos as they are a bit hard to look at but I wanted you to see what this type of surgery looks like. The beginning of August I noticed Jake favoring his back...
Skulls And Spiders Table
Happy Monday everyone! Today on the blog is my Skulls And Spiders Table which was so fun to put together. In previous years, I wanted happy and pumpkins. This year I wanted dramatic and dark so off I went in search of skulls, skeletons, graves, and spiders. Where did I find it all, you ask? I was able to find almost everything at Big Lots (they are running a 20% off on all their fall stuff until 9/23). I made pit stops at Home Goods, Walmart, Dollar General, and Hobby Lobby to complete...
11 First Aid Procedures For Your Dog In Case Of Emergency
Happy Wednesday everyone! Take it from me…owning a dog is so rewarding but accidents and emergencies can happen. Jake had to have ACL surgery recently and we are spending time recovering. It’s been a process of patience and healing which I will be writing a post on later. This may be overkill but I have both dogs established at three different vets just to be safe. My primary is Dr. Brown at Wintersville Animal Clinic and I adore him and his staff. Like I said, emergencies happen and it...
Fun In Franklin, TN
This is a re-post: Mr. TAL and I are in Franklin, TN right now with Jake And Maggie so I thought it would be fun to re-post our last trip here. We left last week for Nashville on business which led into a vacation in Franklin. We have hit many restaurants, stores, and seen some very pretty countryside. I will be posting all about it next week. We stopped into some of our favorite places (you will see below), said hi to our friends, and took some fun pictures. Can't wait to share with you...
What Is A Tonic-Clonic Seizure In Dogs?
Happy Monday everyone! On the blog today…What Is Tonic-Clonic Seizures In Dogs? In a tonic-clonic seizure, the first, very short phase is the tonic. The dog will suddenly stiffen and collapse if standing. Next is the clonic phase, in which the muscles contract and relax rapidly. This is the type of seizure with which most people are familiar. It is often called a convulsion and represents the most common, generalized seizure type in dogs. Several years ago I came home to find my puppy...
Summer To Fall Table 2022
Happy Monday everyone! I’m starting to see fall decor out in the stores which is giving me all the fall feels! Fall is my favorite time of the year. I start spring and summer with a bang wanting to be outdoors working on my yard but then I start to crave fall weather abut this time. I love transition pieces that can transition you from summer to fall without breaking the bank and what better way to do that is to create a Summer To Fall Table! The table adds color, is already set for...

Common signs of vestibular syndrome in dogs and cats include loss of balance, falling, rolling over, abnormal flickering of the eyes and general wobbliness.
