Bows And Hearts Tablescape

Feb 10, 2026 | Maggie Lane Designs, Tablescapes, Valentine's Day

Happy Wednesday, everyone!  Today I’m showcasing my Bows and Hearts Tablescape in traditional Valentine’s Day colors.  I found these adorable pink bow dinner plates and salad plates at Hobby Lobby and completed the table with items I had from previous years.  I think these dishes would make an adorable Mother’s Day and Easter table as well!  Stay tuned…I might be creating two new tables with these dishes :-).

What are you all doing for Valentine’s Day?  Mr. TAL and I are staying home, cooking a roast, having a glass of wine, and spending our day with Maggie!  Wishing you all a wonderful holiday!

I couldn’t resist showing off Maggie in this post!  We were playing ball in the living room, and she loves it when I throw it up in the air so she can catch it while lying down.  Her face just lights up, and I love that.  I suppose it’s the lazy way to play, but that’s ok :-). I’m not sure how I found a bow to match the table, but I did.  Check Naughty Paws website for more Valentine’s Day designs, plus their new line for St. Patrick’s Day that just came out today.  I’ve already got mine on order.  Use code “twoadorablelabs10” for 10% off your order.

Almost all items on this table were sourced from HomeGoods over the past few years.  The centerpiece consists of 4 bushels of flowers from Walmart, arranged in an antique pink glass vase from Thomas’ family.  The Christmas decorations flanking it were bought a few years ago for my New Year’s Eve table.  Yes, I used Christmas decorations on this table!  I tried to make the arrangement look professional, but this was the best I could do.  Once the arrangement was finished, I used crystal heart picks from Walmart, bought years ago, to add a touch of sparkle.

I added black to make the table more dramatic, and because I just love pops of this color.  I’m thinking my St. Patrick’s Day table will be full of black, shades of green, white, and a touch of gold.  We will see, but I’ll be sure to share it with you.  The rest of the blog is photos of the table.  I hope you find some inspiration in it. As for the roses on the plates, they are silk, cut from a grouping and placed as a single flower on each plate.

I thought about filling the table with Valentine’s Day cookies I saw at Walmart, but then I came across this Miss Jones Strawberry White Chocolate Blondie Bar Kit and decided to try it.  They are so easy and fast to make, but let me tell ya…they are SWEET!  I was going to top them with white chocolate-covered strawberries, but decided against it.

I’m Bobbi Jo, a lab-lover who took my passion for animals and dogs and turned it into something bigger.  When I adopted Jake and Maggie, my love for them became the driving force behind Two Adorable Labs, and my blog was born.  My hope is to not only share them with the world, but to help educate others on the importance of animal health and well-being.

Two Adorable Labs has become a collection of all that I love.  I’ll send one post each week on things that bring me joy on animal health, home decor, and food recipes for humans and our furry friends.  I hope you enjoy these posts and much as I do creating them!

I love hearing from all of you and do my best to respond to each and every one of you.  I always enjoy your comments, feedback, and suggestions so keep them coming!  If I’ve posted a recipe (for our human and our furry friends) and you try it, don’t forget to tag me on Instagram @twoadorablelabs and use #twoadorablelabs.

If you do try and love my recipes, I would greatly appreciate a comment and rating.  I read every single one and respond to them.  It also lets Google know that the website contains quality content.  The more comments and 5-star ratings, the more Google will show my blog in search results!  Thank you so much!
