Cheesy Garlic Bread
Happy Wednesday everyone! Today on the blog is my Cheesy Garlic Bread. Made with fresh Italian bread, salted Land O’ Lakes butter, dried parsley, garlic powder, shredded 3 cheese blend from Private Selection, and shredded mozzarella. Toasted at 350 degrees in the oven and served crispy, garlicky, and cheesy. Add a side of marinara sauce or dip in a big bowl of wedding soup and you’ ve got yourself a deliciously salty and buttery meal.
Just a note: If you want your cheesy bread to get crispy on the bottom and top at the same time, hold off on putting the cheese on. Bake for approximately 5 minutes before adding your cheese.

Mr. TAL and I had friends over this weekend and I served up a roast with carrots and potatoes, homemade wedding soup (recipe in my second Sit, Stay, Eat Cookbook), and this cheesy garlic bread. Personally, I think the key to a successful recipe is a big loaf of fresh Italian bread and using salted butter. You want your bread to be fresh not dry and the salted butter mixed with the spices and cheese is the best combo.

Another recipe option is to make this recipe, leave off the cheese, cut your bread into small squares and toast at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Why? Because you have just made homemade croutons for your salad! Trust me…they are yummy!!!
Or…make this recipe but add sauce and pepperoni and you’ve got mini pizzas. Make a side of cheese sticks and a salad and you have a whole meal.

This Cheesy Garlic Bread is perfect for pasta night. Make your favorite pasta, this bread, and a salad. Leave some bread for making those croutons and your loaf of bread does double duty. These are fairly reasonable, cost effective meals to make for your family that can also make enough for leftovers. With the holidays coming up, this Cheesy Garlic Bread is a perfect side to your meal! Enjoy!
