Pea-nutty Apple Pie Treat

May 21, 2020 | Pets, Treat Recipes

Happy “Friday Treats” Friday everyone!!  Today we are talking about Pea-nutty Apple Pie Treats for our fur babies!  I was at the grocery store today buying up everything for the weekend and our Memorial Day celebration and guess who was on my list???  You guessed right…Jake and Maggie!!!!  I made a separate list just for them…Stella and Chewy Freeze Dried Kibble from Pet Supplies Plus, dental chews to order from Chewy.com, apples, peanut butter, veggie oil, vanilla, honey, whole wheat flour, and baking soda from Kroger!

I came home, unloaded the groceries, let the monsters out to play frisbee and then the three of us were in the kitchen baking.  I made Thomas and me some of the bestest, gooiest, chocolate chip cookies packed with walnuts (recipe will be in my cookbook coming out later this year), and baked Jake and Maggie this very healthy pea-nutty apple pie.  It almost taste like a peanut butter cookie with a sliver of apple!  Enjoy!!!!

Devouring the treats!

I tried putting the pieces of the pie on plates but Maggie scarfed them down so fast that I couldn’t get a good picture!  Look at those faces!!!!!! LOL
