Red, White, And Blue Floral Tablescape

Jun 30, 2020 | July 4th, Maggie Lane Designs, Tablescapes

Happy Wednesday everyone!  As I said in my White Chocolate Covered Cherries post (HERE), 4th of July snuck up on me!  I made a trip to Walmart last week and saw this beautiful red and blue “Heritage Floral” pattern dish set from Pioneer Woman but could not get a complete set for 4 in the store.  I went home, placed my order on www.walmart.com and when my dishes arrived, I was thrilled.  Not only had I envisioned red, white, and blue on my table this weekend, the dishes are vibrant and beautiful.  Pioneer Woman has combined my love for beautiful dishes, vibrant colors, and flowers!
These dishes are not only festive but can be used for spring and summer tables, Mother’s Day, or a casual dinner for date night at home :-).

I was able to find the matching tablecloth online and am in love with it!!  The construction is 60% cotton, 40% polyester and trimmed with white lace.  If you are not a lover of tablecloths, Pioneer Woman has also designed matching placemats that are ADORABLE.  I just might buy them on my next trip to Walmart!  I could layer (as you know I love to do) or set the table using just the placemats.

These dishes have so much detail.  Look at the handles on the mugs!  I can totally see Thomas and I having a cup of coffee in the morning and having breakfast on our new Heritage Floral Pioneer Woman dishes!  Can you just imagine a table set up outside with these dishes as the decor against a floral backdrop!  Soooooo pretty!

I made this matching centerpiece with silk flowers and container from JoAnn Fabrics.  They were buy 2, get 8 free and the vase was 70% off!!  Keep in mind that two weeks before the July 4th holiday, JoAnn’s has a massive sale on all Americana decor!!  I loved how the small hints of yellow looked great with the red and blue.  You can see more of this centerpiece in my next blog post Stars and Stripes Tablescape!

These little saucers on each side of the floral centerpiece are Pioneer Woman as well.  I picked them up at Walmart and thought they would compliment the table nicely.  You will see them on my other Stars and Stripes table.  I love buying things that are versatile and can be mixed and matched with other dishes while still serving a purpose at the same time.  I bought 4 of them (2 of each pattern) and can be used for butter, dipping sauces, rolls, appetizers, or mini desserts.

LOOK AT THESE BOWLS!!  I’m in love!
