Squeaky Clean Free and Gentle

Nov 22, 2017 | Products

I’m sending Happy Thanksgiving wishes to everyone and hope you all have a wonderful day.  I know everyone is busy so I’m keeping this blog post short this week.

There are three items that I continue to purchase because they are amazing and I want to share them with you.

Yaktrax Boot Tray
The Yaktrax Boot Tray.  This tray has really saved me over the years with my other dogs.  Not only have I bought them to keep our shoes and boots for the garage but I also use these trays to keep Jake and Maggie’s food and water bowls in.  With them being puppies, they have a tendency to splash water everywhere when they drink.  Jake like to put his whole face in the bowl and swish water back and forth!  This Yaktrax Boot Tray is not only sturdy but the lip on the tray keeps water and food from spilling all over the mud room floor. The price is great at only $9.99 when you order from Amazon.  Another great feature is that these trays are easy to clean.

Green Works Multi-Surface Cleaner
I also make sure that I clean with green products especially when it comes to Jake and Maggie’s eating area and this is why I choose Green Works Multi-Surface Cleaner, Spray Bottle, Original Fresh.  Green Works uses plant and mineral-based ingredients without harsh chemical fumes or residue.  I spray the boot tray down with Green Works and wipe away with a Scott towel.  All Green Works products are held to high standards of cleaning efficiency and biodegradable content, including a minimum of 95% naturally derived ingredients. Green Works products are not tested on animals and use post-consumer recycled material in packaging wherever possible.

Tide Free and Gentle Detergent
Lastly, when I wash all of their bedding, toys, and blankets, I use Tide Free and Gentle High Efficiency Liquid Laundry Detergent.  When our lab mix, Bear, was alive, he developed skin allergies as he got older and our vet recommended this laundry detergent to use for his bedding.  In honor of him, I keep using it.  I love that it is gentle for the four of us, free of dyes and perfumes, and is hypoallergenic.  I also like that when I wash our clothes, I don’t have to worry about the detergent leaving blue soap stains on Thomas’ white dress shirts :-).

Happy Thanksgiving,
