Why Wagmo?

Aug 21, 2020 | Pet Health, Pets

Happy Monday everyone!  I watch Jake and Maggie like a hawk and noticed that Maggie was picking up weight which surprised me.  Every day we play frisbee outside and she runs like a bullet plus she is active in the house.  Her eating habits have not changed either.  I dropped them both off at Paradise Paws Grooming in Oakdale, PA and when I picked them up, the groomer said that she thought Maggie had a bloated stomach.  All of the energy literally left me!  I immediately called the vet who fit me in that afternoon.

After evaluation, blood work, fecal and urine testing, and X-rays, it was determined she had gas!!  Oh my goodness, you have no idea how relieved I was.  She has lost 4 pounds but the vet said that was good.  He saw no problems other than her liver was slightly enlarged do to possibly a fatty diet.  He put her on probiotics to help with that which I started giving to Jake as well.  When I got home, I uploaded my receipt to Wagmo and received my approval immediately and reimbursement the next day.  Interested in hearing more about Wagmo?  See below for more details and if Wagmo is right for you!

NOTE:  After posting this information, I answered a question regarding plans for dogs, cats, and other animals.  I clarified my answer with Andrew Bui
Director of Growth, Wagmo and they only have plans for dogs and cats.  I have responded to the question with clarification in my comment section and wanted to make sure this is understood in my post as well.

Love the picture of them two! I love the idea of pet insurance. Is Wagmo only for dogs or can it be used for cats or other pets as well? Thanks!!!

Thank you! This was Jake and Maggie’s first professional photo shoot. They did so good in a new and chaotic environment. I might get more professional photos of them next year!
