Buffalo Check Tablescape For Fall

My little helpers 🙂
Jake and Maggie spent the weekend helping me decorate but as soon as I opened up our side door to the kitchen they decided to take their break.

The chair squares and placemats are actually pillow cases found on Walmart.com. I chose not to fill them with stuffing and instead used them on my table. They make great table linens!!! The buffalo check napkins are from Walmart.com last year.
The dishes, mugs, and candle sticks were purchased from Kirklands.
The candles are from Mr. Tal’s mother and are over 50 years old. The green candles are wax candles while the orange candles are made of plastic and cannot be burned. They are strictly for decorative use only. I have been holding on to these candles for years now and finally put a tablescape together that would highlight how beautiful and special they are.
As for the florals in the middle of the table, I purchased 3 fuzzy orange stems and 3 leopard stems from Hobby Lobby and intertwined them together in different directions. I wanted something simple but colorful and loved the pop they gave to the table. I thought the little leopard pumpkins in velvet on these stems were so cute! I had originally planned to put them in a fall wreath but instead will use them for a floral arrangement for the middle of my dining room table after I take this tablescape down.
The grey/black wine glasses were purchased at the Dollar General for $1.00 a piece and go well with several other dishes I have. The $4.00 was so worth it especially for the Fruity Fall Party Punch recipe I made last week!
The napkin rings were from Home Goods a few years ago.
The cream chicken plates were bought at an antique store in Eureka, Missouri where we lived for five years. Downtown Eureka was a quaint little place that I enjoyed very much.
