Christmas Eve Table 2021

This is a re-post which is updated and with links added:

Happy Monday everyone!  Today on the blog is my Christmas Even Tablescape 2021.  The inspiration for this table is a vintage tablecloth from Mr. TAL’s mother.  This tablecloth was on every Christmas table of theirs growing up and now we get to re-create a festive holiday table. My favorite color is red and these Pioneer Woman Holiday dishes are the perfect color for this year’s theme of red, white, green, and gold.  I love a combination of vintage, antique, and new and my ribbon candle holders with antiqued glass globes are a perfect accent to this table. Check out my photos and videos for a closer look.

I kept the dishes a solid color because the florals and tablecloth are a busy pattern.  I purchased 3 magnolia garlands at TJMaxx.  Two for our fireplace mantle and one for the middle of our kitchen table.  You can see both at the same time which looks very nice and cohesive.  If you are trying to figure out what to put in the middle of your table, purchase garland that matches your motif, and snake it around candles, trees, bowls, pumpkins, etc. to give a full, festive look for your table.  This year I intertwined magnolias, berries, candles, and candle holders together.

Coffee cups – TJMaxx
Garland – TJMaxx

Napkin rings – Kirklands (similar)
Ribbon Globes – Home Goods

Tablecloth – vintage
Silverware – gift from my parents

I hope you enjoyed my 2021 Christmas Eve table.  The idea is to compliment vintage with new and create a full centerpiece by using garland! If you love this tablecloth and want something similar, Home Goods has some that are close to this pattern and the same color.  Or you could reverse this look by using a solid color tablecloth with dishes that have color and pattern in them.  The perfect tablecloth is one that is reversible so that you can use it in different ways and schemes.  If you have any questions regarding table decor or have any new ideas, don’t hesitate to ask or comment below.

Your Christmas Eve Tablescape is absolutely stunning! I love the gold with the red and the Magnolias thrown in! So great that you can carry on the tradition of the tablecloth that’s been in Thomas’s family for years! It was just so beautiful! Great job Bobbi Jo!

Thank you so much! I enjoyed putting this table together and it made Thomas happy to see that I appreciate something his mother once used and loved.
