Ooey Gooey Sugar Cookie Stack





Nestle Tollhouse Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375° F.
Step 2
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Step 3
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Ingredients
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups (12-ounce package) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 cup chopped nuts (Optional. If omitting, add 1 to 2 Tbsp. of all-purpose flour.)
How I get my cookies to set perfect: Before I add the eggs, I whip them in a separate bowl and then pour them into my wet ingredients. Halfway through baking, I give the baking sheet a little shake to make sure the middle of the cookies are evening out and baking properly.
Another little tidbit for perfect cookies: I add two teaspoons of vanilla instead of one. I also leave the walnuts whole instead of chopping them.

Ingredients
- 1 cup salted butter
- 1 cup Crisco shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup walnuts, halved or pieces but not chopped fine
- chocolate syrup
- caramel syrup
- course sea salt
Instructions
- Cream together butter, sugar, and shortening
- Add flour, eggs, baking soda, cream of tartar, vanilla
- Mix well and refrigerate for 1 hour
- Spray baking sheet with PAM cooking spray. Using a large spoon, spoon out dough and lay on pan. Pat dough down in the middle so they cook even.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 8 – 10 minutes
