Soy candles are safer for you and your pet. Compared to paraffin wax, soy wax does not have harmful ingredients such as petroleum, a nonrenewable source that contains carcinogenic substances and does not produce a “clean” burn. Soy candles are made from soybeans, a natural, renewable source grown in many regions by local farmers. A candle made from soy wax burns cleaner with little soot released as the candle burns. The soy candle may accumulate some black soot on the jar, but the amount is much less than paraffin candles. Soy candles are also non-toxic, so they won’t release toxins into the air as they burn.
Derived from the soybean, soy wax is a hydrogenated vegetable oil that turns to a solid at room temperature. After they are harvested, the beans are cleaned, cracked, dehulled, and rolled into flakes. Soy wax contains nothing artificial, which makes it a better alternative to old-fashioned paraffin wax, which is made from petroleum oil and produces harmful by-products when burned or melted. Soy wax is non-toxic making it better both for the environment and your health!
Fragrance oils do not contain Dibutyl Phthalate. IFRA forbids it. What is IFRA? “The International Fragrance Association (IFRA), based in Geneva, Switzerland, and founded in 1973, is the official self-regulatory representative body of the fragrance industry worldwide. Its main purpose is to ensure the safety of fragrance materials through a dedicated science program.”
Cleaner burning. No toxins, carcinogens or pollutants which means our candles are less likely to trigger allergies. And no petro-carbon soot like you get from petroleum-based paraffin candles.
Longer lasting. Soy wax burns cooler which means that you can enjoy your soy wax candle for generally 30-50% longer than a paraffin candle.
Biodegradable and water-soluble. Since our candles are made out of soybeans, they are naturally biodegradable which makes accidental spills easier to clean with just hot water, soap and some elbow grease.
No lead or zinc cored wicks are used.
Make sure to trim it to ⅛” to keep your candle burning evenly. Keeping your wick at the correct length can also help to prevent the buildup of residue around the candle. Snuffing the candle out using the lid may produce a crackled top when solidified but should not be a problem when lit again.

Ever wish your home smelled like a cozy vanilla dream instead of, well, your dog’s latest mud-puddle escapade? Enter the Vanilla Bean Pet Deodorizer Candle by Two Adorable Labs—a must-have for every pet lover with a nose for freshness.
This isn’t just any candle; it’s the Beyoncé of pet-friendly home products. Phthalate-free? Check. Vegan? You bet. Cruelty-free, soy-free, gluten-free, alcohol-free, and even Non-GMO? Oh yes, it’s basically wearing a cape.
Why Soy Wax is the MVP (Most Valuable Product)
Say goodbye to paraffin wax (a.k.a. the villain of the candle world). This candle is made with soy wax, which is cleaner, greener, and longer-lasting. You won’t get that nasty petro-carbon soot or weird toxic fumes—just hours of glorious, safe-for-pets freshness. Plus, soy wax is biodegradable, making it easy to clean up if you knock it over during a spontaneous game of fetch indoors. (We’ve all been there.)
The Vanilla Bean Vibes
This scent is everything—warm, comforting, and just sweet enough to make your guests think you’ve been baking all day. And don’t worry, the fragrance oils are free from harmful chemicals like Dibutyl Phthalate (thanks, IFRA standards!), so it’s safe for your pets’ sensitive snouts.
Candle Hacks for Maximum Sniffable Goodness
Trim That Wick! Keep it at ⅛ inch to avoid uneven burns or nasty residue.
Snuff Smartly: Use the lid to extinguish it, though it might leave a crackled top (still burns fine!).
Location, Location, Location: Keep it away from drafts so it burns like a champ.
Style Meets Function
The matte white tin is sleek enough to Instagram, while the candle itself works hard to deodorize those less-than-pleasant “pet aromas.” And it lasts 30–50% longer than traditional paraffin candles, so you’ll be smelling vanilla bliss for ages.
