about us

Live, Lab, Love.

Hi! I’m Bobbi Jo, a lab-lover who took my passion for dogs and turned it into something bigger. Two Adorable Labs is of course partially an ode to our love for dogs—specifically our two adorable Labrador Retrievers Jake and Maggie—but our primary purpose is to be a go-to resource for the lifestyle of pet-lovers near and far.

Sit, Stay, Eat!

This is a cookbook for those who are looking for easy and fast recipes that deliver a lot of taste. The book is a compilation of various recipes from family, friends, and some simply created in the kitchen by Bobbi Jo. This book was inspired by the desire to financially help the non-profit organization Joey’s P.A.W. who focuses their effort on helping animals in need of prosthetics and wheelchairs. This book includes recipes for humans and their furry friends along with tablescape ideas and pet health.

How To Get The Best Hotel Accommodations For Your Pet

How To Get The Best Hotel Accommodations For Your Pet

This is a repost: I traveled to Ohio State Veterinary Medical Center (OSU) today with Maggie for a checkup and a liver ultrasound.  During the drive, I was thinking about what to blog about this week.  I chose to stop at a Wendy's for a bathroom break rather than picking a rest stop or gas station because it felt safer to me.  While Maggie was...

What Is Black Dog Syndrome?

This is a repost.  I wanted to share this again because I think it has some great information, but also has the Easter Baskets I made for the pups a few years ago.  They loved all their goodies and thought it would be fun to post again to share some ideas, in case you were brainstorming what to do for your pet.     Happy Wednesday, everyone!...

Bunny Table

This is a re-post.  I wanted to send this out again because Easter is not only this Sunday but also because this is my favorite Easter tablescape.  I had so much fun putting this together and love how all the colors complement each other.  I would have done a new Easter table this year, but the holiday just snuck up on me, and here we are.  I've...

A Chemical Free Yard For Your Pet

A Chemical Free Yard For Your Pet

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Today was so beautiful with sunny skies that it made me want to go out and start my yard work (boy do I have a lot to do).  I always consider the dogs when fertilizing and planting.  We have a grub problem this year and I’m on the search for a pet safe solution to fix our problem.  If you’ve got any ideas, I would love...
