4 Fun Halloween Appetizer And Treat Recipes
Skull Cakes
Recipe:
1 box Betty Crocker White Cake – follow instructions on back of box
Spray Skull mould (found mine at Walmart but Amazon has them as well) with PAM cooking spray. Mix batter with 3 tablespoons of blackberry jam and pour into skull mould.
Bake according to instructions on box. Let cool and pop out on to a decorative tray
Insert candy eye balls (found mine at Walmart), fill in nose and mouth with black icing (found mine at Kroger), and sprinkle with red sugar crystals
Spider Oreos
Recipe:
1 package of Double Stuffed Oreos
1 bag of pretzel sticks
1 pack of candy eyeballs (found mine at Walmart)
1 tube of black icing (found mine at Kroger)
Break pretzel sticks in half and insert into cookie
Dap a bit of icing on cookie and stick eye ball to it
Skull Cauliflower Appetizer
Recipe:
Use Skull tray (found mine at Walmart)
1 head of cauliflower
blackberries
blueberries
Follow outline of the dish, break up cauliflower and place on tray
Fill in eyes with blackberries
Fill in mouth with blueberries
Bat Cheese Tray
Recipe:
Use your favorite fall or Halloween cookie cutter. I used one of a bat. Cut out cheese using the cookie cutter and place on a decorative tray.
Use your choice of cheese. I used American cheese.
Add your favorite crackers.
