Happy Wednesday everyone!  In celebration of Valentine’s Day, I hosted a Galentine’s Day dinner on Monday night with two of my best friends with wine, lasagna, gnocchi, meatballs, and red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing.  As a take home treat, I bought chocolate covered apples and of course, made doggie bags for each of them to take home.  My dear friends brought me beautiful flowers and didn’t forget Jake and Maggie who got toys and treats!  We all had a great time and Galentine’s Day is now going to be held at my house every year!

I had McCauslen Florist create this gorgeous floral arrangement for me to put in the middle of my table.  McCauslen’s is a family run business and has been a staple in Weirton for as long as I can remember.  The amount of artistry that went into this arrangement was so impressive from the painting of the roses to gold splatter on the greenery.  Their store is warm and inviting.  Stop or call for their beautiful arrangements.  The chocolate colored roses come highly recommended!  I thought this arrangement was so well matched to the table linens I bought at Home Goods two years ago.  The wine glasses and two-tier cake plate were bought at Home Goods and gold silverware were a gift from my parents.  The dishes are Pioneer Woman and were purchased from Walmart.com last year before Christmas.

I kicked 2021 off with a large list of things I wanted to accomplish for TAL and time is flying by.  I recently reconnected with a dear friend from my childhood and was able to enjoy the wine during my Galentine’s event she brought up from the Carolina’s during her stay last month (thank you Rochelle!)…it was delicious!   I started a new tradition and made a new memory!  Can’t wait to see you this spring!!  And, you all know how much I love new tablescapes!  I was able to use these floral linens I bought forever ago it seems.  These linens can be used for Mother’s Day, Easter, a spring party, a tea party, and a summer get together!
