Clover Tablescape

Mar 2, 2021 | Maggie Lane Designs, St. Patricks Day, Tablescapes

Happy Wednesday everyone!!!  I told Thomas this morning that March and St. Patrick’s Day means celebrating me!  :-).  We are going to our favorite place for fish and chips…Margaret’s Cafe in Toronto, OH!!  According to my results from 23 and Me, I’m 59% Irish!!  This is the first year putting together a Clover Tablescape for St. Patrick’s Day and it was so much fun!  I’ve had a hard time finding pretty dishes unless I want to spend A LOT of money so I shopped my house and some of my favorite stores.  This is a post on putting together items you have with low cost items to create a fun and casual table!  The plates, napkins, and utensils are paper and plastic but perfect for a quick lunch for just Thomas and myself in between his meetings today.

Where I shopped:

Flowers from JoAnn Fabrics – 4 stems with a 40% coupon. The whole arrangement cost me $22.00. I already had the vase from Ephraim Pottery and will blog about creating this arrangement later.
Cookies from Shop N Save – Every table needs something sweet on it! That’s my philosophy 🙂
Cookie tray from Home Goods – Got this years ago!
Plates, napkins, and straws from Walmart – Walmart has the cutest holiday decor.
Utensils from Amazon – I have these plastic utensils leftover from Jake and Maggie’s birthday party last year.  See Puppy Party Ideas and Jake and Maggie’s Party
Clover decor from Dollar General
Mugs from TJMaxx – I thought these were so cute and bought the only 2 left!  I have a delicious root beer float recipe using these mugs that I will post later for you all to try!
Charger plates – I bought these years ago at Home Goods
Gold Placemats – I bought these at Pier 1 years ago

Thank you! Yellow is such a fun color to work with. I think you can pair it with almost any color given the right tone and texture!
