Merry Christmas everyone! Are you filling your kitchen with wonderful smells of cinnamon rolls, apple pies, or maybe a Christmas Potpourri? Today I’m preparing for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners and decided I wanted the house to smell extra cinnamoneeeee! I threw this Christmas Potpourri together with a few simple ingredients and the house is filled with holiday scents!

This is a short post just to say that I’m so happy and grateful for all of my readers. You are the reason I write this blog and I love all of your comments, ideas, and suggestions. This year has been a difficult one for many. I’m sending out thoughts and prayers to those who have and are dealing with the COVID virus. Maple Glazed Apple Pull Apart Bread

(This zucchini bread would be delicious with chocolate chips baked inside or chocolate drizzled on top)

A sweet, cinnamon, citrus combination of natural ingredients to fill your home.

Ingredients

8 cups water
1 naval orange, sliced
1 honey crisp apple, sliced
2 Madagascar vanilla beans, whole
2 1/2 cups cranberries
1 tbsp vanilla
1 tbsp cinnamon, ground

Instructions

Combine all ingredients into a pot
Boil on the stove until fragrant
Reduce heat and let simmer on low for 4 hours
Take off stove and let sit over night
Add more water in the morning and simmer again for another day of delicous scent
