Merry Christmas everyone! Are you filling your kitchen with wonderful smells of cinnamon rolls, apple pies, or maybe a Christmas Potpourri?  Today I’m preparing for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners and decided I wanted the house to smell extra cinnamoneeeee!  I threw this Christmas Potpourri together with a few simple ingredients and the house is filled with holiday scents!

This is a short post just to say that I’m so happy and grateful for all of my readers.  You are the reason I write this blog and I love all of your comments, ideas, and suggestions.  This year has been a difficult one for many. Christmas Potpourri

A sweet, cinnamon, citrus combination of natural ingredients to fill your home.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups water
  • 1 naval orange, sliced
  • 1 honey crisp apple, sliced
  • 2 Madagascar vanilla beans, whole
  • 2 1/2 cups cranberries
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon, ground

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients into a pot
  • Boil on the stove until fragrant
  • Reduce heat and let simmer on low for 4 hours
  • Take off stove and let sit over night
  • Add more water in the morning and simmer again for another day of delicous scent
