Doses of cuteness (Part 3)…
This is the last re-post in a series of 3 (Dose of Cuteness and Dose of Cuteness 2) that includes pictures of Jake And Maggie when they were puppies. In the last two posts, I’ve talked about our accomplishments, our on-line store, training, doggie birthday parties, our hobbies, and more.
In this post, I want to highlight the side of the blog where I focus on treats for humans and our furry friends, as well as, tablescape ideas! I try to make recipes that are easy to make with limited ingredients for all of us. Some I’ve come up with myself, others I’ve adapted from recipes I’ve found in my searches, and others have been handed down through the family. This is what my cookbooks are all about. I wrote these three Sit, Stay, Eat cookbooks to help raise money for Joey’s P.A.W. to buy wheelchairs and prosthetics for animals in need.
Not only am I talking about recipes and cookbooks to give to pet lovers, I put together 21 Gift Ideas For Pet Lovers
Brother And Sister Two Different Personalities
The pups are a bit older here and their personalities show through. You will see more of Jake here because he was easier to photograph. He loved to grab the leaves in the yard and then sit and watch me with a leaf hanging out of his mouth. He also loved climbing on his daddy’s lap and falling asleep.
Have a black dog and have trouble taking photos of him or her, check out my post here on the tips to photographing a black dog:

We not only make homemade dog treats but talk about pet products and pet food. Jake And Maggie loved these Barking Banana Pancake With Buddy Budder so much I just had to do a post on it! I’m considering selling this Buddy Budder in my store eventually (shooting for next year)
A campaign with Ava’s Pet Palace that I worked on using her homemade treats in a Holiday Barkuterie Board!
A healthy and easy recipe I came up with called Apple and Zucchini Doggie Hors d’oeuvres

I am a huge lover of sweets! I also love a sweet/salty snack. So anyone who knows me knows I love sweets and junk food! I made this Strawberry Icing recipe for my chocolate cupcakes for a Galentine’s Dinner with two of my best friends.

I hope you enjoyed my series of Jake and Maggie’s Dose of Cuteness. I started this blog over my love for animals, Jake And Maggie. I thoroughly enjoy being an advocate for helping and saving animals. It’s so important to be kind to these sweet souls. They deserve nothing but the best. My hope is that in a little corner of the Internet, I can be a source for inspiration, ideas, therapy, happiness, and eduction for people who love my hobbies and love animals. I’ve volunteered at shelters, helped charities, and nothing is more rewarding to see an animal get a loving home. Jake and Maggie are with me in everything I do and I will continue to show that animals are just happy being with us enjoying life with us every step of the way.
