Friendsgiving Table And A Baked Brie Recipe

Nov 22, 2021 | Appetizers, Food, Maggie Lane Designs, Tablescapes

Happy Tuesday everyone!  On the blog today is a surprise post about my “Friendsgiving Table And A Baked Brie Recipe”.  This table and recipe was created to show my appreciate for my sister and friends at Thanksgiving.  Per my post yesterday, Ham Bean Cabbage Soup, I talked about my menu and showed you a glimpse of the table.  Jake and Maggie also enjoyed the evening with us and ate their Apple and Zucchini Doggie Hors d’oeuvres made just for them.

I don’t normally post on Tuesdays but wanted to post every day this week to celebrate Thanksgiving and my appreciation for all of you.  Thank you so much for reading and I hope you enjoy my “Friendsgiving” post.  Not sure what “Friendsgiving” means?  It means that you show your appreciate for your friends as apposed to your family.  I did invite my sister but she is also my best friend besides Mr. TAL of course who was traveling at the time.

We didn’t play any games but I did make these adorable little gifts and placed them at each plate setting.  I bought these heart shaped glasses at Amazon.com and filled them with candy corn and chocolate covered espresso beans from Ground and Hounds Coffee Company.

I baked this brie as one of my appetizers along with stuffed cheesy garlic bread.  Both were so easy to make, took only minutes to prepare and cook, and were a nice addition to the main meal.  This baked brie recipe is so easy that it doesn’t even need a recipe card.  Buy a wheel of brie from your local grocery store, lay down a sheet or two of parchment paper (I found these decorative sheets at Home Goods), bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.  Take out, drizzle with honey and walnuts.

I wanted to create a more visual appealing brie with more ingredients like cranberries and orange glaze but couldn’t find any cranberries.  I’m going to plan on trying this recipe again at Christmas and will post my new recipe then.  I will also post my stuffed cheesy garlic bread recipe as well.

I took three different videos (below) of this table that I hope you enjoy.  In my search to find different table decor ideas, I found these links that might be helpful incase you are still struggling as to what to do for the holidays.

I used the same dishes (HERE) as I did last year but chose to add a large floral in the middle instead.  See my post here on how I made it.  I hope you can take these ideas I’ve given and use them at your own table.  If you do, I would love to see them.  Send me photos or comment below.  I love reading your comments and respond to all of them!  If you are new to the blog, Two Adorable Labs makes a small percentage from the purchases of the related products at the bottom of this post at no extra cost to you.
