Strawberry Flavored Dog Treats

Dec 14, 2019 | Pets, Treat Recipes

I had a list of dog treat recipes that I’ve been wanting to try and some I’ve made over the years but I thought I would give you a very quick and easy one to make for now.  We are all so busy this time of the year and this only involved 2 ingredients…strawberries and coconut oil!!  I found this recipe in the Proud Dog Chef cookbook and it called for 6 strawberries and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil.  I used 10 organic strawberries and 1 tablespoon of Organic Unrefined Coconut Oil. Just blend the two ingredients in a blender or Bullet and freeze the puree in your favorite mold.  I chose the heart mold because well…red and hearts go together :-).

I will be putting more recipes together for you but for now, enjoy this easy one and let me know how your pups liked it!

Custom made ornament with Jake and Maggie's sweet faces!

This was created by our photographer, Salene Kraemer Photography, who took our professional photos for our website.  She surprised me with this gift along with other custom photos and I couldn’t be happier.  I love having Jake and Maggie to put on our tree every year.  And…it matches my tree in my favorite color…RED!
